Who I am...

I'm a mixer.   In 1986 I was the youngest student at what is now the Los Angeles Recording School.  That's where it all began.  From there I ended up in post.  I've spent over 25 years in the post-production business from being a driver, to handling studio design and implementation.  But my passion has always been audio, and so after a stint as the V.P. of Technical Operations for a post-production house in Burbank, I poured all of my energy back into audio.    In 1999 I began my career exclusively as an audio mixer and editor.

Working almost exclusively in on-air promo, and short-form I've built up a substantial skill set that let's me work fast, and professionally.  Two things you don't normally hear together.  

So this is what I bring to your project.  No ego, just work.  At the end of the day I'm on "your" project.  I'm hired for my skills and knowledge but at the end of the day it's your finished piece.  So, "more effects"...fine, "more VO"...fine, "less music"...fine.  You have to be happy with the end result.  And my job is to get you there as quickly and painlessly as possible.

My clients trust me with their work.  For all of my clients including FOX Latin America and the WGBH Media Access Group, I work from my home studio.  Everything is done and approved over the web.  Changes, approvals, and tweaks.  

I work on ProTools.  I could give you a long boring equipment list, but in the end it's just about the finished product.

So, in a nutshell, that's me, and hopefully it tells you a bit about who I am and what I can do for you.
